- To prevent frost damage - leave your heating on for low for short periods of time throughout the day
- Keep room doors slightly ajar to allow warm air to circulate in your home
- Ensure you know where your stopcock is in case of emergency
- Check your lagging and roof insulation to ensure it's still in place
- Clear your gutters
- Get your boiler serviced
